Erik Matthewson wins Southern Nevada Golf Association Henderson Open at Revere Golf Club

Erik Matthewson fired rounds of 73-73—146 to win the Henderson Open. Kenny Ebalo finished second while former UNLV Rebel golfer and PGA TOUR player Edward Fryatt was third. The event was part of the Southern Nevada Golf Association Championship Series.

 Steve Fink won the Senior Division and Frank Abbott won the Super Senior Division. Rob Zoine won the net division.

Las Vegas, Nev.–Erik Matthewson, a member of Canyon Gate Country Club, finished at two-over par to win the Henderson Open. Kenny Ebalo, the president of the new Las Vegas Junior Golf Association, finished second while Edward Fryatt, a former All-American at UNLV, was third. Ebalo finished at +4 while Fryatt was +6. Fryatt, who won four professional events internationally following his college career, continues to lead the Southern Nevada Golf Association Player of the Year standings.

The event was played at Revere Golf Club in Henderson.

Steve Fink won the Senior Scratch Divison with rounds of 75-77—152  (+8). James Hill was second at 76-77—153 (+9) while Chris Whatley was third at 78-77—155 (+11). Senior Net was won by Domenic Sica with an adjusted total of 70-79–149 (+5).

Frank Abbott, the 2014 Super Senior Player of the Year, ran away with the Super Senior Scratch Division with rounds of 73-74—147 (+3) while David Walski was second at 76-81—157 (+13). Super Senior Net was won by Tom Richardson in a playoff over Mike Bridges. Both had a two day adjusted total of 146 (+2).

Rob Zoine won the net division with adjusted rounds of 77-74—151. Kenneth Paul was second at 77-76—153.
