Angel Park Golf Club – Mountain Course

There isn’t much more you need to mention about Angel Park Golf Club, other than Arnold Palmer and “The World’s Most Complete Golf Experience.” Palmer designed the two 18-hole golf courses at Las Vegas’ Angel Park Golf Club, the Mountain and the Palm, and other amenities found at the facility combine to make it the total golf experience. In addition to the golf courses, there is a lighted par 3 course—the cloud nine—that was created to pay tribute to the world’s most memorable par 3 holes, a lighted, all grass putting course, a lighted and expansive practice area and driving range, a full-service clubhouse, an all-grass putting course, and a restaurant complete with banquet room and a patio with one of the area’s best views. Angel Park truly is a “complete” golf experience. Any size event, party, or wedding can be accommodated at Angel Park as well.

The Mountain course is one of two 18 holes courses at Angel Park designed by Palmer and features holes decorated by canyons and water. Gorgeous views of the entire Las Vegas valley and Red Rock Mountains accent the fairways, greens and tee boxes of the course. The Mountain Course plays at an elevation of 2,800 feet and plays longer than the Palm Course at Angel Park. The signature hole of the Mountain Course is probably the 557-yard, par 5, 17th hole which plays to a two-part fairway. A well-placed drive allows the biggest hitters in the group a chance to go for it in two with a shot over a canyon while other hitters will need a well-placed layup prior to a short iron into the green. A dramatic desert canyon cuts the fairway in two.

Angel Park has been the recipient of several awards, including the accolade of Best Golf Course in Las Vegas in the “Best of Las Vegas”, Las Vegas Review-Journal Readers Poll more than a dozen times and “Favorite Golf Course” in Las Vegas by visiting golfers (as nominated by What’s On Magazine Visitor Choice Awards). In addition, the Golf Shop at Angel Park has been selected as a “Top 100 Golf Shop in the Country” by Golf World Business several times.
