Stallion Mountain Golf Club

If you know anything about Las Vegas, you know that change and evolution is a constant. Such is the case at Stallion Mountain Country Club, a master-planned living community in the eastern part of the Las Vegas and Southern Nevada valley. The crown jewel of this community is the Stallion Mountain Country Club golf facility, which opened in the early 1990s under the name Sunrise Country Club. And it was the home of three Las Vegas golf courses, but is now the home to one golf course.

This 7,351-yard layout was designed by PGA Tour legend Jim Colbert and golf course architect Jeff Brauer. The club has a decorated history in Las Vegas as a host venue for the PGA Tour Las Vegas Invitational, the Golf Channel’s Big Break II, and the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Classic. Located within just seven miles of the fabulous Las Vegas Strip, Stallion Mountain also welcomes its guests to a full array of amenities including a 38,000 square foot clubhouse, flexible banquet/event facilities, and personalized bride and groom rooms. The golf club offers a complete practice facility that includes a double-sided practice range as well as multiple putting and short game greens.

For those interested in golf history, Sunrise Country Club—the previous name of the course–was the site of the second round of 59 in PGA Tour history, shot by Chip Beck during the 1991 Las Vegas Invitational. Amazingly, he didn’t win the tournament.

While Stallion Mountain Golf Club is a resort daily-fee golf facility, a limited number of Annual Golf Programs are available. With an annual golf membership participants have access to tee times 14 days in advance, allowing for the tee sheet to be managed in a way that provides preferential access to these individuals. There are a host of privileges associated with an annual golf membership.
