Wildhorse Golf Club

Wildhorse Golf Club is one of the more historic golf courses in the Las Vegas Golf Region.  Formerly the Paradise Valley Country Club, Indian Wells, Showboat Country Club and Royal Kenfield Golf Club, the moniker is now Wildhorse and the course is located in the beautiful area of Green Valley, an unofficial suburb southeast of Las Vegas. Officially, Wildhorse is located in Henderson, Nevada, and is about 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.

The holes at Wildhorse stretch through several neighborhoods and are decorated by water features and mature trees (which offer shade in the summer). One of the most memorable holes in all of Southern Nevada is the par 4, 9th hole that might be the most difficult hole in the area. There is water off the tee to the right and at the end of the fairway, plus two ponds guard the front and back of the green. A precise drive and approach shot is needed for success on this unique hole.
In the 1970s the course hosted rounds of the PGA TOUR’s Sahara Invitational. The course was also once owned by billionaire Howard Hughes. The facility is now municipally owned by the City of Henderson. Wildhorse Golf Club is officially recognized as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International – one of only 3 courses in the region to achieve this honor.
A two-story clubhouse with an events room is nice for corporate meetings, golf tournaments, weddings and other special events. An events lawn is also available for outdoor weddings and events.

Wildhorse is professionally managed by Par 4 Golf Management, a prominent Las Vegas company that also operates several other Las Vegas golf courses. Annual memberships are available with reduced rates at Wildhorse and other Par 4 Golf courses. Official Las Vegas golf packages for visitors are available through the Par 4 Golf concierge.
