TPC Summerlin is exquisitely carved into the Southern Nevada desert in Summerlin, the largest master-planned living community in Southern Nevada. The active membership is a who’s who of Las Vegas business people and families. The club is also the site for weddings, corporate events, and charitable outings including its annual hosting of the PGA TOUR’s Shriners Hospitals for Children PGA TOUR event, now a part of the FedEx Cup.

An oasis in the Nevada desert just minutes from the famed Las Vegas Strip, TPC Summerlin showcases an array of amenities along with the personalized service and privileges that have become synonymous with the PGA TOUR’s acclaimed TPC Network of clubs.

In addition to one of the top golf courses in Nevada, TPC Summerlin also features a 14,000 square-foot PGA TOUR-caliber practice facility, four lighted tennis courts and a junior Olympic swimming pool. The 36,000 square-foot clubhouse features casual and formal dining options as well as banquet and conference areas to suit your business and social events. A brand new state-of-the-art, $6 million fitness center is also scheduled to open in 2016.

The History:
Fuzzy Zoeller worked with PGA TOUR Design Services Lead Architect Bobby Weed to craft Summerlin’s
holes, and it was perfect pairing. Zoeller was selected, in part, because he won the 1983 Panasonic Pro-Celebrity Classic, the first tournament of what is now the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

TPC Summerlin is the home of the PGA TOUR in Las Vegas, and the former host site for an event on the Champions PGA TOUR. Among the champions that have won on this prestigious private course are John Cook, Jim Furyk, Webb Simpson, Hale Irwin, Jim Colbert, Ryan Moore, Billy Andrade, and yes, Tiger Woods. In fact, Woods earned his first PGA TOUR win in Las Vegas when he was victorious at the 1996 Las Vegas Invitational. It was only his fifth start as a professional, and when asked if he was surprised that he won so early in his career, he replied, “I’m surprised it took so long.”

While the pros enjoy the course one week a year, members and guests, and those who earn reciprocal privileges or are members of other PGA TOUR TPC Network courses, enjoy the layout the other 51 weeks. The course is kept up to PGA TOUR standards on a daily basis and pros who live in Las Vegas play and practice at the course as do visiting pros.

Memberships are available and information can be found at the official website. Members receive
benefits at TPC Summerlin in addition to the national TPC Network.
