pool2015Doug Pool won his 3rd Nevada State Senior Amateur Championship on Sunday at Rio Secco Golf Club.

Pool shot eight under over 54 holes to complete a unbelievable win over a championship field. With his putter working, Pool could do no wrong.

John Turk, Steve Fink and Darrell Lutey all finished in second place. All players seemed to be playing for second most of the tournament after Pool started the event with a 66 on Thursday. He followed that up with a 68 to get to ten under for the event. Fink was the closest after day two with back to back 69’s to start the event.
