The Haddock’s strung together 9 net birdies and a net eagle to post the victory.

“We just focused on not giving back any strokes,” said David Haddock, Dave’s son.

David said this win was special.

“My dad and I play golf every week,” he said. “It’s what I look forward to. We play, talk and practice. It’s all about golf and to win a tournament with my dad means more to me than if I were to win one on my own.”

He said their game plan in the tournament worked to perfection.

“Dad is very consistent,” David said. “He would tee off and if he had a good tee shot, I would go scorched earth on my tee shot. It worked out well and I made two birdies that way. But it’s always nice to have him as a safety net.”
