Women’s Golf Day 2023 Celebrates the Game and Promotes Inclusivity
It is now an annual tradition to celebrate Women’s Golf Day at historic Las Vegas National Golf Club during an event hosted by the Southern Nevada Golf Association in association with the United States Golf Association. Top PGA of America and LPGA teaching professional were on hand as was UNLV Women’s Golf Coach Amy Bush-Herzer in addition to 100+ women golfers.
A special panel featured golf social media star and entrepreneur Alejandra Barnard ( @golfmami_ on instagram) Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association executive director Renee Rocco and Women’s SNGA president Rusty Beckel.
Kerri Clark, a Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame inductee, summed up the day perfectly.
“I was really impressed with all the women that were here and it even was bigger than the year before,” Clark said. “It shows how much women really love this game and how much we need to include them in this game. It’s not exclusive, it’s inclusive.”
