Member Club Spotlight – Heroes in the Rough

There are heroes amongst us, and members of Heroes in the Rough, a Southern Nevada Golf Association member club, fit that billing.

At the annual fundraising event for the organization that heals a veteran’s mind, body and soul through athletics, mentorship and friendship, the power of determination and inspiration was on full display

The world’s number one golf instructor, Butch Harmon, a Vietnam War veteran, knows the difference helping a veteran can make and is a huge supporter of the program. Be sure to listen to his words in the video.

Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Leroy Petry represents his medal for himself and the others he served with and was on hand at Canyon Gate Country Club Nov. 7, 2023, to help the program.
