Las Vegas City Am Week Hits Full Momentum With Change to June
For the third year, a highlight of the Southern Nevada amateur calendar is Las Vegas City Am Week at Las Vegas Golf Club. The week tees off May 31 with an SNGA Tour event and concludes June 9 with the final round of the Las Vegas City Amateur.
Las Vegas Golf Club debuted in 1938 and is a local’s favorite. The move to June will accommodate more golfers and also allow for the best conditions.
Men, women and juniors will compete in events during the week.
“This is our favorite week of the year because it is a celebration of amateur golf at all levels in Southern Nevada,” said Kenny Ebalo, President, Southern Nevada Golf Association. “Our associations continue to grow and make a difference in Southern Nevada. We also thank Las Vegas Golf Club for hosting the week. Muni has a special place in the hearts of longtime Vegas golfers.”
