LAS VEGAS, NV (Dec. 4, 2025)–Jerry Ledzinski (Championship), John Turk (Senior), David Foggia (Silver) and Chris Kanthak (Net) won titles in the 2025 SNGA Tour Championship. The tournament was held Dec. 4, 2025, at Las Vegas National GC.—by Bill Bowman, Las Vegas Golf Insider

Jerry Ledzinski birdied the final hole en route to his first SNGA title as he won the Championship Division by one stroke.

“It was a nice day out there for me,” Ledzinski said. “I hit it nicely all day. I capped it off with a nice three-wood into the green on 18 for an eagle putt. I didn’t make the putt but had a good birdie to finish it off.”

Ledzinski, who runs an investment advisory firm in California, said he’s kept his SNGA membership because of the SNGA staff.

“When COVID hit, the SNGA stepped up and stayed open,” he said. “I was looking for somewhere to play tournaments and Tim (Brand) and the rest of the SNGA put on great tournaments on great courses. I love getting out here to play golf when I can and the SNGA really puts on great events.”

Ledzinski said the win has helped show fitness efforts are paying off.

“I’m going to be 53 and I’m trying to ramp up for senior golf,” he said. “I’m in the gym five days a week to maintain and hopefully increase…my length. To be able to keep up with the young guns and be competitive is great.”

Ledzinski added Las Vegas National was a solid challenge.

“The par 3s are tough, especially on the back nine,” he said. “It was my first time playing the course and playing it blind may have been a little bit of an advantage. I was just trying to hit fairways. I just didn’t make any putts.”

Senior

John Turk won for the third time in 2025–two individual titles and a team crown–as he won the Senior Division by two shots.

Turk recorded one birdie and five bogeys and said despite the score, he was OK with his round.

“It wasn’t bad,” he said of his play. “Maybe they thought we were professionals because there were very tough pins everywhere…well, at least for me.”

Turk added he didn’t capitalize on a number of birdie chances.

“I lipped out about five times for birdie,” he said. “The greens are small and they were tough to hit and tough to read. It was more of a grind today.”

He said overall, he’s happy with where his game is.

“I’m hitting the ball well and putting decent…well, usually,” he said with a laugh. “Today was just one of those grind-it out days.”

But, it was still a victory.

“A win is a win,” he said. “All you can do is tee it up and give it your best on every shot and see where you wind up.”

Silver

David Foggia played the back nine in two-under-par in cruising to an 11-shot win in the Silver Division.

It was Foggia’s fifth win of 2025 as he has two individual titles and three team victories.

“The greens were good today,” Foggia said. “It was just a good day. I’ve played in four one-day events and won all four so I’m pretty happy about that.”

He said playing at Las Vegas National is always welcome.

“I like the course and I tend to play well there,” he said.

He added his back nine, which included two birdies and seven pars, had a chance to become short-circuited.

“I had a near-shank,” he said. “It was the 14 th hole and I had about 105 yards in and I have no idea what happened on that shot. But I did get up-and-down for par from 30 yards. So, it wasn’t all pretty on the back nine.”

He said he’s really looking forward to 2026.

“I’m playing pretty well coming off a back injury,” he said. “Right now is the best I’ve felt in two months. I developed a few bad habits and it took a while to get rid of them. This was an awesome way to end the year. I’ll start up again next year and try to play more events…as long as I can stay healthy.”

Net

Chris Kanthak had a front nine to remember–two net eagles, a natural birdie and a net birdie- and held on to win the Net title by two strokes.

It was Kanthak’s second win of 2025.

“It was definitely a good front nine, that’s for sure,” he said. “My putter was on fire. I was making putts I had no business making.”

His other win in 2025 was a major in a scorecard playoff.

“It was great to win a major, but it was in a scorecard playoff,” he said. ”This one, I felt like I really earned it.”

He said despite the hot start, there was still some doubt.

“I was five-under net at the turn,” he said. “I said…OK, just don’t blow it. And I almost did. I got a little overconfident and started making mistakes. But over the last four holes I played pretty solid and had a net birdie on the last hole to seal it.”

H admitted he wasn’t sure if he would get back to the winner’s circle.

“I really went through a lull,” he said. “I was close to finishing last every time for a while. My game has been all over the place but now I’m getting back on track and it comes at the perfect time.”
