Ebalo seals up Player of the Year with smooth win at SNGA Tour Championship
Kenny Ebalo carded a one under par 71 to win for the SNGA Tour Championship by 2 strokes over Darrell Lutey. Ebalo, A.K.A. The Virus, eagled the 8th hole after making triple bogey on the 7th Hole on his way to his 6th victory of the year.
Ebalo has turned the SNGA into his own personal playground over the past 10 months en route to his 1st Player of the Year award and will continue to show promise at the state and national level for years to come.
Rob Zoine also sealed the deal on the Net Player of the Year with a 2 stroke victory over Ed White. Zoine, who fired a 70 Net, has now captured back to back Player of the Year awards in the Net Division.
In the Senior Division, James Hill was impressive with a 69 to win by 4 strokes over Peter Dunlap. Hill has now positioned himself to make a run at Senior Player of the Year in the season ending SNGA Championship. He is a mere 27 points behind John Garrett, who stumbled to an 82 on Tuesday with a chance to close out the Player of the Year honors.
On the Senior Net side, George Yocum beat Emet Ledezma in a scorecard playoff as both players fired great rounds of 67 Net.
