For the first time, the Southern Nevada Golf Association brought Women’s Golf Day to the golf destination of Mesquite, Nevada, and the CasaBlanca Golf Club. To say it was a huge hit is an understatement. Story and video by LasVegasGolfInsider.com with Total Design Studios.
“I’ve only been golfing for about three months and I figured this would be a really good way to learn basics in an environment where it’s very friendly and women focused,” said Nikki Balestrere, participant. “I’m learning so many valuable skills already that we already signed up for the next one.”

“I kept getting all these emails from SNGA and this one caught my eye,” said Rachiel Diaz, participant. “It was like a women’s clinic and I didn’t know they offered that, so I feel like SNGA is very community oriented and they cater to their members.”
Women’s Golf Day is a collaborative effort by a dedicated team, golf management companies, retailers and organizations all working together to engage, empower and support girls and women through golf. The four hour experience allows a simple and accessible platform to build a foundation and creates a network to support the continuation of golf no matter what skill level or interest while engaging them in a charitable cause with global impact from a local level.
The Vision is to help lead growth in the golf industry by giving women around the world the opportunity too try golf no matter their race, religion, language, geography, or economic status.
The Mission is to make the game of golf fun and accessible to women and girls around the world.
