Southern Nevada PGA Awards Highlight by Lifetime Achievement Honoree
Excellence was on display at Cascata for the 2024 Southern Nevada Chapter, Southwest Section, PGA of America annual awards dinner. The star of the event was Joe Kelly, who earned the distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award for six decades of service. He was introduced by Dr. Chris Cain, director, UNLV PGA.
Kelly has been inducted into the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame and Southern Nevada Sport Halls of Fame, and has been a key leader for junior golf, amateur golf and other worthy golf causes during his career. He is also a strong proponent of the UNLV PGA program and other worthy organizations.
More than a dozen of Southern Nevada’s top club professionals were honored for service, playing ability, teaching, leadership and mentorship.
Cascata served as the host of the event and also earned the Facility of the year. The course is operated by Professional of the Year Andy Elliott
