4th Annual Las Vegas City Am Week Now Golf Tradition Unlike Any Other
In 2022, the Southern Nevada Golf Association led by President Kenny Ebalo, tournament committee, and staff, created Las Vegas City Am Week. It is now a part of the of the fabric of the Southern Amateur Golf Calendar and players anticipate it each year.
This year, the Week runs from May 30-June 8 and features men, women, junior and senior golfers in six different events.
“It’s been great to see all the divisions grow and the competition continues to get better,” says Ebalo. “The City Am Championship division has always been very important for a player’s legacy and now all the divisions are gaining that kind of notoriety. It’s also great to have Las Vegas Golf Club embrace the week and really get behind all the events. That course opened in 1938 and the history of amateur golf there is unmatched.”
