Volunteers are critical to the success of Korn Ferry Tour events, managing functions ranging guest services, pre-course set-up, on-course marshalling, walking scorers, operations, Pro-Am, player registration, locker room, practice facility and much more. In addition to having behind-the-scenes access and the opportunity to be up close and personal with the greatest golfers in the world, volunteers will receive a tournament polo shirt and hat to wear during tournament week, lunch, snacks and drinks at the course and free parking.
Korn Ferry Tour Hits Paiute – Play Pro-Am or Volunteer
There has been a plethora of professional golf in Las Vegas over the last several months and now more is coming to Southern Nevada. The Korn Ferry Tour’s MGM Resorts International Championship at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort swings into town April 12-18. Opportunities are available to volunteer for the tournament and also spots remain for the high-end pro-am, which includes being paired an up and coming PGA Tour player. –By Brian Hurlburt, Las Vegas Golf Insider.
The tournament is scheduled for Pete Dye’s Sun Mountain course at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. The top pros from the Korn Ferry Tour, including several locals and former UNLV golfers, will take aim at the title and a chance to get one step closer to the PGA Tour dream. Among those scheduled to play are John Oda, Harry Hall and Taylor Montgomery, each former Rebels.
