Las Vegas, Nev.–Max Marsico won his second-straight Southern Nevada Golf Association tournament by surviving inclement weather and a field of the top amateurs in Southern Nevada. Marsico, who played high school golf at The Meadows School in Las Vegas before starring at the University of Pennsylvania, was even par and won the Tournament of Champions. The tournament was the first big event on the 2015 SNGA schedule and was played at the TPC Las Vegas and TPC Summerlin. Marsico was two shots better than Ryan McCullough, Kenny Ebalo and Shane Sigsbee, who each play out of the private Southern Highlands Golf Club. In December, Marsico won the SNGA Championship played at Cascata.

Marsico played for Penn from 2010-14, and was the team captain as a senior but injuries forced him to miss the season. He won three college tournaments and was named All-Ivy League first team in 2012-13. McCullough, who finished tied for second, was the lower amateur of the 2014 Nevada Open which was played in Mesquite in December.

Michael Andrews, from Southern California, won the senior division of the Tournament of Champions. He defeated Cyrus Whitney and TPC Summerlin member Doug Pool by four strokes.

In the Super Senior Division, John Corbin defeated Canyon Gate Country Club member and Super Senior Division Player of the Year Frank Abbott by one stroke.

In the Net Fields, Rob Jackson, Doug Pool and Bill Fortner won Net, Senior, and Super Senior Net, respectively.

The SNGA would like to thank the TPC Network at Las Vegas and Summerlin for their great support with this event!
