Shriners Open 2020 – No Fans But Still Ways to Be Involved
According to Shriners Hospitals for Children Open executive director Patrick Lindsey, another stellar field should be teeing it up at TPC Summerlin Oct. 5-11 for the annual tournament. Last year, the world’s best player, Brooks Koepka, played and, overall, it was the Shriners top field in a couple decades. Minus fans, Shriners Open 2020 should build on that momentum, especially as the C.J. Cup–normally in Asia–will be played in Las Vegas at Shadow Creek the week after the Shriners, giving the world’s top players another reason to play Vegas. –By Brian Hurlburt, Las Vegas Golf Insider.
But even though the fans will be missed at the Shriners, there are still plenty of ways to be involved and support the tournament. Here are some great ways and also click now to download the official Shriners Open 2020 Guide to things to do.
The defending champion is Las Vegas and Southern Highlands resident Kevin Na, who won the tournament for the second time. He joined three-time Vegas champ Jim Furyk as the only player to win the Vegas event more than once.
