US Open Local Qualifying at TPC Summerlin Copy
It’s US Open Monday for the local qualifying world and the Southern Nevada Golf Association is at TPC Summerlin for the Las Vegas edition of this event.
78 players will take on the TPC Course, home of the Shriner’s PGA Tour Event taking place on November 3-6 this year. The course will play to a Par 71 for the US Open qualifier, with the tough 3rd hole playing as a Par 4 instead of a Par 5.
The USGA took 4 qualifiers from this site:
Austin Graham – 66
Mitchell Carlson – 68
Monte Montgomery – 68
Scott Diel – 68
The alternates will be:
1st Alternate – Ed Fryatt – 69 (won the first alternate on the first playoff with a birdie)
2nd Alternate – Brady Exber – 69
The US Open will be at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, PA on June 16-19.
