Women’s SNGA Team Play 2024 Coming Down To Final Events

With just three events remaining in the regular season portion of the 2024 WSNGA Team Play series, Nancy Lauback, team play coordinator, said the jockeying for position for the playoff run is hitting high gear. “Every match is important and it’s great to see how competitive teams are this year,” Lauback said. “It’s going to be an exciting finish.” –by Bill Bowman, Las Vegas Golf Insider. Lauback added that it’s hard to believe the playoffs are right around the corner.

“It seems like the year has gone really fast,” Lauback said. “We started on Jan. 29 and we’re about to wrap up and get ready for the playoffs. It’s been a fantastic year with lots of competition. All of the teams are excited as we wind down.”

And it’s likely going to get more intense.

“It’s really tight in some of the categories,” Lauback said. “It seems like just a couple of teams aren’t in contention so it’s been a very competitive year. It’s really good to see some of the newer teams, like Mountain Falls and DragonRidge, also contending.”

The 20 teams in the 2024 edition are making the rounds and playing 18 of Vegas’ finest courses for a shot at one of the three crowns.

With three division titles up for grabs–Overall, Gross and Net– everyone’s attention is making sure they have a shot at being one of the teams in the playoffs.

“With as close as the points are, anything can happen,” Lauback said. “And that’s keeping the matches real intense. Because there are just three matches left, it’s only going to get more competitive. It’s really going down to the wire.”
